Havana is a city like no other. The colonial architecture, the music, the busy street life, the colours, the cigar dealers, the cars – it is uniquely beautiful. We spent many days just wandering about the streets of Centro Habana, which I preferred 100% to the touristy La Habana Vieja. The houses are crumbling down and the cars are falling apart whilst the laundry is calmly swaying in the wind. My boyfriend and me started our trip in this wonderful place and returned towards the end. After three weeks on the road, it felt like coming home again. In total we spent about 6 or 7 nights in the capital, staying at a stunning casa particular – it was even listed on Vogue’s 8 places to stay in Havana.
Again, it was tough to narrow down the selection of photos, but I hope this will give you a pretty good idea of Havana’s vibes.
